Commonly Asked Questions
Can I use red wine, balsamic, or apple cider vinegar for cleaning?
To avoid the risk of staining surfaces It’s not recommended to use vinegar that contains a coloring agent. White vinegar also has a 5 percent acidity which is close to the acidity in store-bought cleaners.
Does vinegar really clean?
Yes, the acidic nature of vinegar is powerful enough to clean dirt, grease, grime, and mineral deposit from water.
How can I mask the smell of vinegar?
Vinegar isn’t the most pleasant scent but when it’s used for cleaning the scent doesn’t linger. You can mask the smell of vinegar by adding a few drops of essential oil. I find lemon essential works well.
