How to Make Foaming Hand Soap

How to Make Foaming Hand Soap with Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap.

Homemade foaming hand soap has a lovely light scent and a rich creamy lather. I love making hand soap with Castile soap. It's super simple to make with pure organic ingredients.

This foaming hand soap recipe gives a soft smooth lather that leaves your hands feeling clean with only two ingredients. When you use this hand soap for the first time you will notice a difference, your hands will feel so clean. You can add essential oils to your soap if you’d like. Tea tree oil is good for your skin and is antibacterial. You can also add lavender, lemon, or orange essential oils for scent and antibacterial purposes.

Castile soap is sold both scented and unscented and is safe for babies. The scent is light, clean, and natural. My favorite scents of castile soap are almond and lavender.

Did you know foaming hand soap can be made in the same amount of time it takes to refill the soap dispenser? Oh, and kids love this foaming hand soap too!

What is Castile Soap?

Dr. Bronner’s castile soap is an organic liquid soap that's good for your body and our planet, made with organic ingredients. There are no synthetic preservatives or chemicals, the liquid soap is plant-based and biodegradable. Castile soap is concentrated and needs to be diluted with water a little bit goes a long way.

What is Castile soap used for?

Castile soap has many uses from an all-purpose cleaner, laundry, hand soap, body wash, and a bath for your pet. Be sure to check out my DIY moisturizing body wash recipe that's another great use for Castile soap.
